Sew 'n Tell of the meeting and our Shop Hop Trip

On August 12th several member and guests took a bus trip to several Quilt Shops in Michigan and one in Ohio.  A good time and much shopping was had by all.

The first stop was Lake St. Mercantile in South Lyon Michigan,  They were a featured shop in the Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler in 2008.

The Second shop was The Stitchery located in Howell Michigan.  They are a Janome Dealer and half of the shop had machines while the other half had fabric, patterns, and everything else.

The third stop was Ann Arbor Sewing and Quilting locatd in Ann Arbor and they repair all brands of machine and are a Bernina seller.  I thought this was one of the larger shops of the 4 we went to.  They has 4 rooms of Fabric and all the patterns and notions and everything else in the 5th room.
