Kare quilted Just Ducky - a UFO from perhaps 10 years ago!

Carolyn finished piecing this top for one of her granddaughters!

Beth showed us a Disappearing 9-Patch made from Winnie the Pooh fabric! She even showed us how she made it!

Doris made this lap quilt for her sister who loves Boyd's Bears. She was unable to find Boyd's Bears fabric, so she substituted Paddington Bear fabric!

Here is another one made by Doris. She calls it a Chicken Feed Lap Quilt. This was foundation pieced on muslin!

Doris made this from the 2011 Guild BOM. It was pretty bright and cheerful!

Linda has been busy too, she finished this tote bag

Linda also finished this UFO - she HAND QUILTED it!

These are two walling hangings rescued from Carolyn + Jeanette's Mom's stash! The blocks were all ready done, so Linda sashed them and made 2 wall hangings!

This is a sampler quilt from years ago that Doris just finished. The top was freehand quilted on her longarm. Really, a great piece of work!

This quilt by Deb is on my personal Quilt Bucket List . . . it's the Christmas Pickle!

This is a patriotic table runner that Deb just whipped up.

This is a tabby cat kids quilt. Deb promised to let us all know where she found the pattern! Below is a duck quilt she made too!

Theses are the 5 blocks that will make the last row for the quilt pictured below. Roberta has been working on this project all year and sharing it with us!

This is one of the Row Robin tops that's waiting for one more row . . .

This block is called Anita's Arrowhead and it was a family project. Karen was supposed to make a quilt of these blocks, but this is as far as she got . . . . ummmmm, been there, done that!

September 2011 Meeting

Today we met for the September Meeting with 3 guests in attendance!

We drew a name from raffle ticket sales for the Guild Quilt and the winner (far left) came during our meeting to pick it up! She was quite excited as her bedroom is all of the colors in the quilt!

August 2011 Meeting

Well, on a personal note, we moved to a new home and my camera cable went missing. Located it a few days ago so I am now able to post the August pictures from Sew 'n Tell - better late than never! But the Sew 'n Tell Sign-up Sheet is still MIA, so I can only post descriptions from my memory which is shot . . . hopefully, the list will surface soon . . .

These first 15 quilts were made by Joanne for the Honor Flight participants in honor of her Dad, Francis J. Schwab, a veteran of the US Navy, having served as Radio Man First Class on the USS Ingersoll from 1942 - 1946. The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. The organization transports our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Joanne made a quilt on behalf of each of her siblings and parents!

It was hot, hot, hot today, but we had a great meeting! Sew 'n Tell was short, but sweet . . .

First up is Joanne with her Raffle Quilt for the 3day Breast Cancer Walk. This picture only shows half of the quilt!

Here is Joanne again, this time with her Judy Niemeyer Glacier Star. She is sending this top to a longarmer in California to quilt for her!

Next up are two of the same pattern, Fast Forward, in two different colorways. The one with the black background is scrappy from Kare's Stash and the white background is a batik jellyroll of Joanne's!

Next up is Doris with some gift totes she made for her sons wedding. Out of town guests for the wedding who are staying at a local hotel will be receiving these totes filled with goodies!

Here is another quilt by Doris that she just got back from Ginger, the longarmer. Check out the picture below to see the backing where the pattern is really visible that Ginger used on this quilt!

I don't know what pantograph this is, but it's gorgeous!

June 2011 Meeting

We had a short + sweet meeting today! Several sew 'n tells too:

This is a potholder from the February 2011 Guild Retreat that Kathy + Doris gifted to all the attendees! Karen recently finished hers

Karen also found a free pattern for this small wall hanging on a blog! She may gift it to a niece who loves the Denver Broncos!

Eileen has been busy embroidering throws for recent graduates! What a great non-labor-intensive idea!

Sue has been busy finishing up projects. This was a BOM from a LQS. Love the bright colors in this one - it's so cheerful!

Sue also finished a bed runner from a Judy Niemeyer Bali Wedding Star Pattern. This was absolutely gorgeous. I can hardly wait to see it quilted . . .

Kathy has been machine embroidering again - here is her gecko tote bag. She even added an "extra" block to the inside lining of the bag!

This is a close-up of the quilting on Doris' Double Wedding Ring . . . the feathering was really elegant!

Apparently Doris, aka the Pillowcase Goddess, was not busy enough working on that DWR Quilt as she managed to whip up 56 pillowcases for a local shelter!

This is a colorful donation quilt that Linda whipped up!

This is a quilt that Pam recently finished. Pam was working on this quilt at our Guild Quilting Retreat back in February. The quilt was constructed from a jelly roll!

These are some BOM that Mary made, two blocks are from the 2010 Guild BOM Program and the other is from the Guild 2011 BOM Program.

I apologize for this picture, as there are two dolls but only one pictured that Jeanette made for The Giving Doll Project for children in need. Each handmade doll comes with a blanket and tote bag and some even have little trinkets, like the little Matchbox car with the boy doll, or sometimes a book!

These two blocks are Carolyn's from the Guild BOM Program.

Carolyn also has been busy finishing up a UFO from 2003 - a Stack 'n Whack Quilt!

Carolyn also finished a signature quilt for her family reunion later this month.

This is a new project I am working on from a pattern called Fast Forward by Julie Herman. I love this quilt and it is so simple and fast to construct. Julie has a blog called Jaybird Quilts, I strongly suggest you check out her pattern tab to see what she has to offer - the quilts are all so cute!

Not too much for Sew 'n Tell this month . . .

This is the 1600 Quilt that Karen made in 1.5 hours! This would make a great lap quilt for family members or donation and Karen finished it in 90 minutes!

This is a Bethany Reynolds Stack 'n Whack that Eileen finished from 2002. It WAS a UFO, but not anymore, because it's done, done done, quilted and bound!

This was a new project from Eileen - she received the pattern at our Guild Quilt Retreat in February and whipped this up!

These two blocks are Rhonda's and they are from the Guild BOM Program.

Linda has been at it again or perhaps I should say she's still at it with another donation quilt.

Linda also completed several pillowcases for a local shelter

Jeanette has been ~~obsessed~~ really productive making purses and snapbags! Love all the combinations she used!

Pam is on a roll getting some UFOs completed. Here is a small star wall hanging she recently finished.

Pam also completed this UFO, a nautical panel she embellished.

Pam also was pretty creative making a protective pouch/cover for her Kindle!

April 2011 Meeting

It was an exciting and informative meeting today with several guests in attendance. Joanne gave a presentation on entering quilts in local fairs and quilt shows.

First up with sew 'n tell is a fussy cut Winnie the Pooh Quilt made by Eileen. I didn't notice it when I took the picture, but the boxes all appear to have a shadow - what a cool effect Eileen, great job!

This is the hexagon project aka Grandmother's Flower Garden, that Eileen was working on at our Guild Retreat last month, and she is almost finished with the wreath.

Another one by Eileen made from a package of charm squares. The pattern was on the April 2011 front cover of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine. Eileen tweaked the outer border using piano keys instead of the flying geese.

This is Eileen's last sew 'n tell, a quilt top that is soon to become a Twister Quilt! Hopefully at next months meeting she will have that top completed so we can all see a before & after . . . that is a subtle hint Eileen!

This is Mary's Stash Digger Quilt from the guild 2011 February Retreat and it looks great!

Two of today's several guests brought sew 'n tells with them. This one belongs to Terri and it was gorgeous. It is all applique and that center basket/vase is absolutely stunning!

This is another quilt of Terri's and this was was made from all of her scraps! It was gorgeous too!

These are 2 purses that Terri made too that were embellished with machine embroidery!

This was another guest, Janice, who brought her miniature wall hanging in for us to enjoy! The flowers were dimensional + awesome!

These next two pictures are of an online program Roberta is participating in. It's a Row Robin - this first picture was sent to her be another program participant and Roberta now has to add a row of blocks to it. The blocks could be any pattern and she is allowed to choose colors as long as they are in the original color family! By the time this person gets this back, it will have five rows made by other people! What a neat idea!

February 2011 Meeting

We had lots of sew 'n tell for today's meeting! First up is Judy K with a Disappearing 9-Patch quilt

Then there is Pat M with her interpretation of the 2010 Guild Retreat Quilt made for Fred in various shades of purple, bordered in a dark purple with black stars!

This is Doris' scrappy 2010 Guild Retreat Quilt . . . simply breath taking! What a great job Doris!

Linda, aka the Pillowcase Goddess with well over 100 made to date, brought in 30 more pillowcases for the Guild service project!

Linda also made this quilt from a cheater panel she scored at a local garage sale - also for the Guild service project!

This is the Guild Raffle Quilt which was just returned from the longarmer!

Jeanette just finished a QOV (Quilts of Valor) with some fabrics donated by Moda! The QOV group has planned a trip to a military facility (in the Toledo area I think) where they plan on distributing approx 30+ quilts!

I went on a 4 day/3 night quilting retreat at the end of January and had a very productive time as you can see by the following 5 pictures. First up is UFO #3, a Disappearing 9-Patch from an online swap, quilted and bound . . . Done, Done and Done!

This is Now & Later, UFO No. 3, and all I have left to do on this one is to tack the binding to the back! I am not all that crazy about this quilt, but when I purchased the pattern I was hungry and there were Now + Later candies attached to the pattern so I bought it!

Next thing are Tulip blocks made from 30's reproduction fabrics from an online swap!

This is a top I made from the book Jelly Roll Quilts. Coincidentally, I used the same line of fabric on my quilt as they did in the book!

Lastly is a top I made from batiks I purchased while in Hawaii! I saw the pattern for this in the Feb/Mar 2011 issue of McCall's Quick Quilts and it was a breeze to make - it really was quick and easy!

January 2011 Meeting

Today's meeting was short + sweet! Seams as though everyone enjoyed their holidays too! We are anxiously awaiting the Guild Annual Quilt Retreat at the end of February. Below are a few items from our Sew 'n Tell:

This is a quilt Joanne made for one of her granddaughters. She quilted it with spider webs and used Superior Threads Glow in the Dark thread and it stayed lit up for 28 minutes!

This is a patriotic wall hanging that was formerly a UFO on Joanne's List!

Then, just for kicks, Joanne whipped up Scrappy Hearts from her stash!

Here is Sue with a tie she made for her husband!

and since Sue will not be in attendance at the Guild Retreat next month, she brought in her Guild Challenge Quilt to show all of us! Everyone who attended the Retreat last year received an envelope which contained a crayon and we were to design/make a quilt using that color. Sue's crayon was the green used in her quilt!

Here is Doris with two of 30, yes, you read that correctly, THIRTY pillowcases she made while visiting family over the Holidays!

Christmas Party 2010

13 members celebrated our Guild Christmas Party today at Danny Boy's restaurant in Sandusky this afternoon after a brief business meeting! We all brought a white Elephant gift to exchange! We had a great meal (everyone ordered what they liked from the menu). Some us even brought home doggie bags!

There were a couple of sew 'n tells:

Carolyn brought a big bag of loot from her recent trip to California! Fabrics, patterns, magazines, etc, and all so "Carolyn" in her favorite colors!

I brought in my finished scrappy Wedding Rings top. It looks pretty cool with the light shining from behind the quilt . . .

November 2010 Meeting

The picture above is the Guild's 2010-11 Raffle Quilt. We all worked on the blocks at last months meeting and Doris has been busy sewing all of those blocks together. It's now ready to be taken to a local longarmer!

This months meeting was really exciting as we had several demos:

English Paper Piecing
Lil' Twister and the Twister rulers
No Waste Flying Geese
10 minute Block

I think everyone really had a great time with the demos.

So here are the results of our Sew 'n Tell

This is one of the first quilts that Pam made. It's a rag quilt and the shot below is of the bottom portion of the quilt which I seemed to have cut-off in the picture to the left . . .

Rhonda is making several of these cute trees for family members!

Roberta is making these cute snowmen for her family members - she must of had at least a dozen of them!

Kathy made a cover for a pillow and a machine embroidered angel for the top of a tree!

Doris made a quilt from a classic block pattern found in the Nov/Dec 10 issue of Quiltmaker magazine.
This classic block was re-designed by Anita Grossman Solomon and utilizes a revolutionary piecing technique.

Here is a foundation pieced string quilt made by Doris!

Here's another from Doris with a neat border fabric - and she even mitered the corners - very impressive!

Doris also made this Paddington Bear quilt. It was a long time in the making for a family member - looks like it was worth the wait though!

Pat M made this cute bag to hold the essentials, credit cards, and a cell phone!

This is just one of several blocks that Jane's daughter, Kelly, who is a beginner quilter, brought to show us.

Carol finished the quilt for her daughter, it's machine quilted and bound!

Here's a purse Carol modified with pockets to suit her needs!

Here's Eileen with a baby quilt suitable for a boy that she was working on at our Guild Retreat last month. It's done!

Here's Eileen again, this time with a baby quilt for a little girl and it's done too!

Kare just needs to add borders to this top she was working on at the guild retreat . . .

October 2010 Meeting

This month's meeting was well attended, especially by gnats, but that didn't stop us! After the business portion of our meeting, several of us stayed to work on the 2011 Guild Raffle Quilt! We got all but two of the blocks done! Now the committee will be assembling all of those blocks into rows. A special thanks to all the members who stayed to help with that project!

We all got a "massage" from Irene with her little magnetic roller thingy! It felt great and was really relaxing. Look at this pic of Deb, she is in "the zone"!

Rhonda showed us a cute Tote Bag she completed!

and Linda B has been sewing away making quilts for our service project (a local women's shelter).

and to frost the cake, Linda B made 20 pillowcases for a local shelter too!

Sue T was recently in JoAnn Fabrics and saw a clutch made from Duct Tape . . . she researched it online and made one - it was really cute!

Sue T was also inspired from the tote that Kathy W showed at the September meeting and decided she wanted one like it, so this is Sue's version!

Here is a quilt Sue T made and the blocks have embroidered cats on them and they all resemble her cats! Just how many cats do you have Sue?

This is the back of the cat quilt - it was just as cute as the front!

Joanne finished her 2010 Guild Retreat Quilt. Leave it to Joanne to finish it before our next Guild Retreat on the 16 + 17th of this month . . . I'm just sayin' . . .

Joanne also showed us a recently completed large wall hanging of English Paper Piecing. Joanne will be teaching a class on this technique at the LQS and the November Guild Meeting. Hope to see you there!

September 2010 Meeting

We had lots to sew 'n tell at today's meeting!

This is Carolyn's first quilt and she is one of our newest members! It's a Suduko pattern in bright greens, yellows and purples with black borders that she is making for her daughter!

Doris has been working overtime making 8 pillowcases for the Guild service project!

Kathy was taking a class on this new design technique and was supposed to be making a backgammon board, but she doesn't know how to play, so she made a tote instead!

Here is Deb with her completed Jacob's Ladder that she HAND QUILTED . . . it's taken her 2 years to finish it and it's gorgeous!

Carolyn showed this top in July, but now it's finished! The top was started by Jeanette and Carolyn's Mom and Carolyn finished the quilt for her - it's gorgeous!

This is a quilt Kare found online and tweaked it a little from the free pattern that was posted on Patchwork Times - it's called Scraps Ahoy!

Karen has made another quilt from one of Pat Speth's books More Nickel Quilts. It is going to be a king size quilt when she adds the two borders!

The following pictures are of some embroidery blocks that Kathy has been constructing in classes in Upper Sandusky! The yellow cone flower is my favorite!

Pat attended the meeting with 2 of her grandchildren!

This quilt was made by Carolyn for a family member in California!

The quilt with the flying green geese was made by Carolyn several years ago . . . Carolyn's Mom saw her quilt, liked it and decided to make one for herself and made her flying geese pink! Same quilt, just different color schemes.

May 2010 Meeting

Since I was not able to attend the April meeting, I asked the members who had something for sew 'n tell to bring the items back again this month so I could photograph them!

First up is Mary with her completed quilt top from our February 2010 Retreat. What is wrong with this picture? I do not even have all of my blocks cut out and her top is done, and to really frost my cake, she had this done for last months meeting... what an incredible job Mary!

Next up is Rhonda with a bright baby quilt (I love the spikes) and a tulip wall hanging that she hangs at work!

This is a LQS BOM "from years ago" that Doris finally made into a bright and colorful baby quilt. I have this BOM too, all of the blocks are done and just sitting in a pizza box . . .

Here is Kathy with an iris table runner, her work is impeccable!

Here is Kathy again with another project, a gorgeous swing jacket that was free motion quilted!

Here is Doris with a colorful lap quilt! It is so striking!

Doris then showed us a large wall hanging she made from mens ties for a friend who lost her husband.

Doris also made 15 pillowcases for our service project, a local shelter.

Here is Sue ~~Miss Productivity~~ with a bed quilt that she made from last years Guild BOM. I have the instructions for this, but never made it, now that I've seen Sue's I want to get going on one!

And last, but certainly not least is a quilt Karen made from a pattern in Pat Speth's Nickel Quilts book. What a great job!

March 2010 Meeting

This morning we met for the March Guild meeting and there was lots to sew 'n tell!

First thing to show is our Guild Raffle Quilt. Tickets can be purchased by emailing kybarra at neo dot rr dot com

Maura is making picture frames from fabric!

April made 7 or 8 pillowcases to be donated to our local service project and a grocery tote for herself.

Doris made an apron for a small child!

Kathy brought in 3 projects. The first is a small wall hanging from a class she took in Upper on Machine Appliqué.

Second, a table runner that she made for a Christmas Gift that was embroidered and raw edge appliquéd, very cute!

Lastly, Kathy brought in the very first quilt she made . . . it was huge, not to mention finished!

Doris finished two projects she was working on at the Retreat:

Carolyn brought in her Challenge Quilt from the 2009 Retreat

Joanne's been busy again, as usual! She made a reversible handbag from kitchen dish towels!

Then she showed a UFO which she recently finished! A lot of the fabrics for this quilt were purchased from a trip to Lake Tahoe

and this quilt which only took her 5, yes five hours to construct. It is made using the Twister Ruler which can be found online at The Country Schoolhouse

Our Quilt Retreat was a great success!

Our Quilt Retreat was this past weekend was a great success! Because we have increased our membership since last years retreat, we had to move our Retreat to a larger venue! This place was great, much bigger, lots of large windows, a fully functioning kitchen, cable TV and a separate room for our Licensed Massage Therapist Deedra! Deedra decorated the room with little lights, relaxing music and incense - very relaxing! Our optional program this year was a Mystery Quilt. The quilt was pictured on the cover of the June 2009 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. I like it so much, that when I am done with the one I am working on now, I plan on making another from my stash! I was so busy trying to catch up to everyone else that I am afraid I neglected my photo duties - these are just a few of the many, many quilts being worked on!

OK, the pictures below are from the 2009 Quilt Retreat Challenge. At last years retreat we were each given an bag containing 2 fat quarters and we were required to make something using the 2 fat quarters and the sawtooth star block. They could be any size and we were allowed to add as much other fabric as we chose. As you can see, there were several members who participated in the challenge returning this year with their projects ~~unfortunately I was not one of them as my challenge kit is still in the bag it was given to me in buried somewhere in that pit I call a quilting studio . . .~~

January 2010 Meeting

Today we had our January meeting and we had a workshop afterwards to go over the pre-cutting and sewing instructions for the Mystery Quilt. The Mystery Quilt will be constructed at our February Retreat! This year we will have 24 members attending the weekend retreat and I will be posting pictures as soon as I return home for everyone to enjoy! Below are the pictures from today's sew 'n tell:

First up is Deb with a Christmas Tree wall hanging and then an "I Spy" quilt for her grandson to use at Preschool!

Next up, Janet made several pillowcases for a local shelter. Two of the pillowcases she made would be suitable for a woman as she made them from some floral fabrics. They were very pretty, don't know why any of the rest of us hadn't thought about the adults that may be in the shelter too as we have all been making pillowcases from children's novelty fabrics! The other two pillowcases were made from some Halloween fabrics!

Janet has been busy finishing her version of the Guilds BOM. She isn't really happy about her choice of the rust colored fabric for the sashing, but everyone else thought it was a great choice!

Pam was busy making pillowcases too from M&M NASCAR fabric, a ladybug print and a bunny print

This is Joanne with her Thimbleberries Safehaven Quilt that she just picked up from Rachel, the longarmer! Below is a closeup of the quilting on this quilt - it was exquisite, especially the checkerboard border where Rachel quilted an orangepeel design in each block which makes it look like a cathedral window quilt design! This is a quilt that Joanne made for a family member that she quilted herself on her domestic sewing machine!

December 2009 Meeting

We had our December Meeting today and a catered Christmas Dinner by Creative Cuisine. We had several productive members this month, so there was a lot to Sew 'n Tell!

First of all, each member who constructed a raffle quilt block received a button of the actual block picture from Sue! I think that Sue stays awake at night thinking of neat little ditties like this to reward us!

This is a quilt made by Irene and it's a twisted nine patch. It is huge!

This is a quilt made by Eileen for her granddaughter. It was another large quilt with a panel in the center!

This is a quilt that Doris made from a BOM program at Quilts & Kreations in South Amherst. I was really glad that she showed this project as my completed blocks are stored in a pizza box somewhere in my quilt room. I never can figure out how to set them. Am I the only one who does this? Can you feel my pain?

This is another BOM from Quilts & Kreations in South Amherst. This setting has a panel in the middle. I really like the setting of this one, it's really different. Guess what, I have completed blocks and the panel for this one too in yet another pizza box. I think that Doris must be staying awake at night too thinking of different settings because she just got an APQS longarm. That is one of the reasons she's been getting so much done lately!

These are some blocks that Doris had that were sewn together and she took them apart and added some sashing and created this quilt for one of the boys!

I am so bad, I cannot remember what Doris said about this quilt, but I can tell you that the nested clamshell quilting on it was awesome!

Here's another one from guess who - - yeah, Doris! It's a Christmas tree made from men's ties! I have never seen anything like this, it was so cool. Now do you believe me when I tell you that she lays awake at night . . .

This is the Guild BOM and Mary got every single one of her blocks done and her top is all put together.

My instructions are still in the notebook . . .

Here is Mary once again with the other Guild BOM. She was up until way after midnight getting this one done so she could show it today! Her machine even broke down, but that didn't stop her, she whipped out her Featherweight so she could finish it! Mary added some pre-printed blocks that she found at Helping Hands Quilt Shop in Berlin, Ohio too!

Here is Diane with a table runner that she made on her embroidery machine!

Here is Eileen with a couple of the blocks she made. Eileen took an applique class at Country Fabrics in Shiloh. She learned a lot and is looking forward to working on a Baltimore Album Quilt when she finishes this one!

Karen has been busy sewing up a storm for a craft show . . . here is a baby quilt - can't remember the name of it, eighths or something . . . maybe Crazy Eights?

November 2009 Meeting

Our November meeting was a workshop to construct the 42 blocks for our 2010 Raffle Quilt. 40 must be the magic number because each block contains 40 pieces! It was a challenge, but several members got 2 blocks done, I was not one of them as my seam ripper had become my close personal friend! Being a gluton for punishment, I took 2 blocks home with me to turn in at a later date.

April made a wall hanging from some machine embroidered blocks a friend made.

Deb made a spikey designed quilt from Doris' BOM scraps and only had to add the border and background fabrics! Deb, Doris + Irene took a class on this quilt from Country Fabrics in Shiloh.

Mary has been busy with two BOM's - I feel like such a slacker as I haven't even begun either BOM project . . .

Even our newest member, Roberta, brought in for Show 'n Tell this cute machine appliqued quilt! It was just precious!

We had our guild meeting today and there was lots to show 'n tell!

First there is Deb, and man, she's been busy making a bag, potholders and a child's quilt from patterns found in a magazine!

Joanne brought in a quilt she named Fiesta made from a pattern she modified found in a magazine.

Then there is Carolyn, ~~the over achiever~~ . . . She went nuts-o making 18 pillowcases for our guild service project - yes, EIGHTEEN of them!

Carolyn also made a Family Signature Quilt from bow ties that family members signed while at a family reunion. As if that wasn't enough, she went on to make a huge, ginormous Thimbleberries Quilt called Pansy Park for a family member. And last, but certainly not least, she made a wall hanging from the Guild BOM that a co-worker had admired, and gifted her with it! I think Carolyn wins the prize for productivity!

These are quilts that were made by members of the Guild who attended the 2008 Retreat. All participants were given a panel of Quilter's Quotes and several fat quarters. Additional fabrics could be used and there were no limitations as far as size and we were to bring them to the 2009 Retreat!

Today was our Christmas Party. We had an awesome meal catered by Creative Cuisine, Sandusky, OH. But what I am most interested in showing you is our show 'n tell! First we have Deb L with her dimensional kitty quilt. If you click on the picture, be sure to check out the 2 mice (one at the top and the other at the bottom)!

The next two pictures are of Deb L's reversible tablerunner - it's Christmas on one side and Fall pumpkins on the other. Great job Deb!

The next two pictures are of Joanne H's bag and totes. The red bag is made from a placemat! The next picture is of two larger totes, one with pockets, the other without. Now aren't you wishing that you were on Joanne's Christmas Tote Recipient List? Next we have pictures of Pat M's MQB Retreat 2008 quilt! The name of the block is Old Maids Rambler. Pat got creative with the back of her quilt!
Diane R has had her embroidery machine working overtime with Christmas gifts as you can see by the following 3 pictures: a centerpiece, 2 little stocking ornaments to hold gift cards or money and a snowman stitched on organza that Diane will make into an ornament for the tree or a package! Next up we have Pat R with a stunning dragonfly quilt made for her daughter-in-law. Pat used some gorgeous batiks, some etched with gold! Even the backing to this quilt is equally stunning with a Hoffman dragonfly print! Great job Pat!
Here is Eileen K with a comfort quilt for someone at her church.

And here is Judy K with a play mat she made for her grandson. He ought to have hours of fun driving to school, stopping for gas + visiting the pizza parlor!

and last, but certainly not least, Kare and Joanne have spent the past month or so culling items from their Quilt Rooms that they no longer wanted or needed and brought them to share with Guild members! There were books, patterns, a calendar, a clip-on light, a tin picture, a quilters license plate, stationery . . .
